SAFETY PROTOCOLS

Although volunteers are not allowed in nursing home settings, it is still in the best interest of the elderly for the volunteers to follow appropriate Covid-19 safety protocol which includes, but is not limited to washing your hands thoroughly with water and soap, wearing gloves when handling shipping material, maintaining a 6 feet distance at all times when possible, wearing a mask, and using hand sanitizer. It is mandatory that all volunteers follow the above protocols.

Lecture

CONDUCT

Volunteers representing the Letters for Rose community show appropriate conduct which includes, but is not limited to respectful speech, professional conversations, and a kind mannerism towards the elderly. It is mandatory that all volunteers follow the above protocol. If there are any issues concerning conduct, please contact us immediately.

TECHNOLOGY

You will need to have Zoom and remind downloaded on your device. Remind and email will be the primary forms of communication and Zoom will be used to schedule virtual meetings so that we can ensure that all members of the Letters for Rose community are progressing in a positive direction! We have zoom meetings on the first Thursday of each month from 4:30 - 4:45 PM.
